Speaker Says Religions Need To Compromise - Standing Ovation At BYU

BYU chooses some interesting guest speakers. One recent speaker is Jonathan Rauch, a gay atheist supporting compromise between the LGBTQ agenda and institutional religion. Mostly Christianity. Political veteran Paul Mero and political influencer Eric Moutsos discuss the real fallout of this compromise and dissect its faults. A lot of new fluffy word are used but in the end, Rauch is simply asking the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to compromise on legally on an anti-family agenda. when Moroni is talking who's he talking to mhm us we we've got a lot of work to
do to get to a place where we can be Kingdom ready right and this is
the time to do it and I think the most important thing we can do especially for our children children that are going to
BYU and probably confused is let them know who they are as children of God let them know that they were born to become
kings and queens let them know that we have to stand up for for these things cuz this is one big test and we are in
it right now yeah my last word would be just follow the prophet just the prophet follow the
prophet uh I mentioned earlier if I got a phone call from president Nelson right
now and said Maro knock it off I'd knock it off I'm done I would do whatever he
says um but he's not talking about this stuff there 's nothing mhm about this
that he's talking about and and he's not the kind of man
by the way that uh you know takes his show on the road you know he speaks when
he has something to say and um I think there's a reason why that uh a lot of a
lot of this compromise talk um really you don't hear it that
much from the Brethren anymore and it's and it's down to the BYU level MH
because they're in a they're in an academic environment where they're allowed to bring in a a gay atheist Jew
to talk um that's why I say the Mantle's been passed over I'm
I'm positive that President Nelson even if he knows about this stuff
is just like you got to be kidding me you got to be kidding me at some
point he'll address what he needs to address just like he did on Grace right remember that and now inside uh the
endowment we have Clarity on Grace after all you can do yeah yeah cool all right

career in the culture War MH and uh and basically says we lost the culture War
our side lost 25 years ago and uh and
get out of the fighting stop f fighting live peaceably live our faith
be Covenant latterday Saints accept it you're going to get stepped on you're
going to have to Martyr yourself at some point in certain ways but if you're an average Latter-day Saint just live
peaceably take care of your family don't lend them out to the world and uh and be
faithful all right guys really appreciate it this was fun and uh maybe we can do it again
