The Church News run by Deseret News had an article about International Women's Day with several enriching stories from women leaders of the Church. However, the introduction of the article and the email header by the Church Communications Department gave a very different take and message on the day focusing instead on #BreakTheBias stating " people all over the world are encouraged to call out and break gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping in order to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive world." DEI is something very specific in the world of Critical Social Justice.
