A Pastor recites the "Sparkle Creed" with her congregation. It is a ridiculous, though telling, manifestation of Christianity's awful state. As the viruses of the Philosophies of Men, such as identitarianism and tolerance, creep further and further into the culture, they naturally infect Christianity and the West and slowly but surely "sicken" them to a breaking point.
The Pride movement and the new battle against judgment require a change in God's nature—a new image that is in our own. Changing God's image allows us to stay as who we are and weakens the need for the Atonement of Jesus Christ. At its core, it is a lack of responsibility.
The Children of Israel rejected seeing "the face of God" and climbing Sinai as Moses did. They brought God down to them instead (the Golden Calf).
all right so this short episode is very
Fringe and you might ask yourself well
Greg why are you even bringing this up
and the reason is is because the sparkle
Creed even though it's followed by very
very few people in
Christianity represents to some degree a
large portion of Christianity that is
now trying to make God into the image of
man now this episode is brought to you
by save the ranchers.com this Saturday
August 17th we are having Elite rifle

Utah State treasur myself my wife would
love to see you there in Springville
Utah on Saturday August 17th go to save
theer ranchers.com and put in the promo
code quick
CWI now here we are with this uh Sparkle
cre I'm going to play a little bit of it
and then put a little bit of commentary
into this and though this is not
codified in most other Mainline
Christian denominations the elements are
there let's take a look and let us conf
confess our faith today in the words of
the sparkle Creed Sparkle Creed I
believe in the nonbinary God okay so I'm
going to put this up here if you're
watching this on on video uh I see this
I've seen this a number of places online
I I saw it at a uh church just behind
where we live on the moniker God is
nonbinary now as we go through this
sparkle Creed I think there are some
things that as latterday Saints we're
going to see that where where there's a
little bit more difficulty in
deconstructing the nature of God than
you would have with the rest of
Christianity as an example we have the
godhead very specifically in our
Doctrine there is a father with a male
body a body like we have there would be
a heavenly mother and there is a son a
male Jesus Christ with a body these are
all resurrected bodies so to say that
God is nonbinary is not something that
we can easily fall into what we get
instead is some people deciding now that
they want to pray to a heavenly mother
but breaking down that nature of God as
being non-binary is much more difficult
you see online often times people saying
God is female kind of like the future is
female whatever that means or God is
non-binary well you can more easily
easily say that in Christianity as a
whole than you can specifically within
the restored gospel let's keep going
whose pronouns are plural I believe in
Jesus Christ their child who wore a
fabulous tunic and had two dads okay so
again what what's being said here is
this is obviously a pride type of a God
where diversity is going to rign who
wore a fabulous tunic this is an
important part of what they're saying
here and again just understand the
psychology behind this of what they're
trying to make God into even especially
when he is here in a mortal world that
He Wore a fabulous tunic they're trying
to Des describe some kind of a a
characteristic of him and then of course
that he had two dads being I suppose
Joseph and God the father is a direct
hit against the traditional family and
you know if you spoke to other Saints
sometimes on this I think you'd be
surprised as to to see how many people
would actually support you know maybe
not the Creed obviously but a lot of
what is said here one more remark on the
making God into our own image and I've
brought this up before but I think the
story of Mount Si with Moses coming down
from Mount Si with the first tablets not
the second tablets that the children of
Israel ended up with it's a different
set different words but the first
tablets that Moses comes down with down
from Sinai remember he sees the children
of Israel partying they had made a
golden
calf and were apparently worshiping this
calf I I have a little bit of a
different take on this uh I have seen
others that have this but when you read
Exodus that calf is referred to as
Jehova and in fact immediately after
talking about the golden calf you see
that Aaron is making these preparations
for the Festival of
Jehovah in my mind what they are doing
is bringing God down from SI and
creating him in their own image they
molten him in their own image so to
speak they are not willing to go up SI
with Moses remember they don't want to
do it don't get lost with the whole the
whole partying thing and the whole
golden calf thing they refuse to see the
face of God that is a temple reference
they refuse in in terms of the temple
the children of Israel refuse to go to
the veil they refuse to go to the veil
and be in the presence of God face and
presence are the same word in Hebrew now
in order to go to the temple veil you
must have the malisic priesthood so when
Moses comes down the first time he
essentially has what we might call the
milisic priesthood law the higher law
but as the children of Israel have
stated that they will not go to the
presence of God they do not want to see
his face they don't want to go up
through go go up to Sinai because Moses
had said the whole time he wanted them
to go and God had said he wanted a
nation of
priests but they refuse so they bring
God down to them instead in the image of
this molten calf and that refusal of
taking on the additional responsibility
of a higher law results the consequence
of Moses breaking the higher law tablets
and then having to go back up and saying
hey I am going to atone for the children
of Israel I'm willing to give my life up
but please don't take their life he says
it's it's very much reminiscent of uh
maybe one of the at least for us perhaps
one of the first if not the first
example of a day of atonement event
again the whole Sinai experience is a
temple experience and we've been doing
this ever since and so in the church we
may not change the gender of God the
father but we can assign other
characteristics to Jesus and we've all
probably seen that online trying to
change him into what the fads of the
philosophies of men would teach us today
but the most important change that we
see and have always seen in the past is
the loss of judgment prior to Jesus
being born you had the prophets all all
prophesying about Christ yes I know it
doesn't say that specifically in the Old
Testament but they all prophesied of
Jesus Christ so what happens is is the
new theocracy that gets put in place
that tried to push itself in the time of
Hezekiah and Isaiah the deuteronomists
but didn't fully succeed but later they
come in and they succeed during the time
of King Josiah and then later you've got
their Jeremiah and then Lehi comes into
the picture for us and they have gotten
rid of Jesus Christ so that's the easy
thing to do in changing the nature of
God and getting rid of judgment you say
that there is no Christ there will be no
Christ that will be born because there's
no need for him if you don't have to
repent if there's no judgment or you put
no value on judgment there's no
requirement for the atoning sacrifice of
Jesus Christ so today it just changes
right where we just you know maybe you
just have to believe in him and then
everything is fine this is this has
happened since the time of the Garden of
Eden this has happened this push away
from judgment has happened with the war
in heaven in our premortal existence but
that's the primary change that you see
now in trying to bring God down to man
and and putting him into our own image
no judgment let's keep going with the
sparkle Creed here I believe in the
rainbow Spirit who scatters our image of
one white light and refracts it into a
rainbow of gorgeous diversity diversity
I believe in the calling to each of us
that love is Love Is Love Is Love so
beloved let us love I believe glorious
God help my unbelief amen okay so again
we get a push here of diversity we get a
push here of the rainbow flag ESS
with with again a a philosophy of men
being put to the top of Christianity
here which is diversity as if that is a
goal there is no goal of diversity there
is a goal of
assimilation to the principles of the
gospel and to the Commandments to the
character of God and whoever does that
by their own choice and makes the
sacrifices necessary repents and changes
their own character whoever that is the
goal is to get as many of those
individuals to assimilate to those
things and to be one with God the
philosophies of men the current and past
philosophies of men which all are rooted
in the same thing but manifest
themselves in different ways in
different times always come in as a
virus into True Religion and one of the
core principles that it attacks is
judgment and if it attacks attacks
judgment it attacks agency and if it
attacks agency it attacks responsibility
it also attacks in a new morality
disparity because with agency and
judgment comes a disparity of
outcome and some people just can't
handle that they won't do it and I
understand it's tough I hate it I hate
it but you must have disparity of
outcome if you are going to support
agency
and if you support agency because no
unclean thing can enter the kingdom of
God you must support judgment and a
disparity of outcome and that is why the
mission of the church is to diligently
spread the gospel and to perfect the
Saints I know that pillar of our mission
has changed but you know what I'm saying
because really the goal is
exaltation let's not forget that the
goal is eternal life
and exaltation that is the goal for us
individually that it should be each of
our goals for our families for everybody
else and that is why the process is not
tyrannical like the adversaries approach
but rather by persuasion and
longsuffering in charity Etc so even
though this reciting of the sparkle
Creed here from this pastor is
ridiculous it is still a symptom it's a
manifestation of where we are with our
society and and even though there are
just a few people that are really
following this the underlying principles
are all over Christianity the diversity
equity and inclusion these principles
are becoming raised higher and higher as
values in Christianity because they are
in the culture The Pride movement is
becoming more and more relevant
important valuable to denominations
within Christianity and not just other
denominations right within the church
itself within the the latterday saint
church you had here in Gilbert you had a
bishop on a stand during sacrament
meeting with a pride flag on his lapel
now again I know that these individuals
think they have good intentions and they
do probably I'm guessing but you are
letting something else in you are
melting the gold for the golden calf and
it always leads with good intentions
with the untethered empathy and the vent
compassion the SBC the Southern Baptist
convention they are really having some
troubles here I think they're in a
position now where they're ready to uh
the next time they come around or two
they come around to their convention in
the next year or two they're going to
have a real battle you have got the
minority with very Progressive ideas
very woke ideas that are running things
there and they've built it in a way
where they can do that so you have
basically the tail wagging the dog with
the
SBC with the Methodist you've seen
already what's happened in the past with
their division well they've got problems
today with the same thing and it's the
same issues the Church of England you
have Liberation theology entering there
you have issues with identitarianism
that are
very
entrenched at the highest levels of the
Church of England and many other
denominations of the Anglican tradition
so yes the sparkle Creed is
ridiculous and even most denominations
would say it is ridiculous but the
principles that underly this Creed are
finding their way into all of the
Christian denominations in the west so
going back to our Temple metaphor are we
going to do what is necessary to see the
face of God are we going to do what is
necessary to go to the veil are we going
to stay on the Covenant path and move
toward God or are we going to say no
that is too hard we don't want judgment
in the way we want to bring God down to
us and we can do that by changing the
nature of God and removing judgment and
disparity and that's the question for
Christianity as a whole are are you
willing to climb sin a representation of
are you willing to put on the character
of God or do you want God to put on your
character
thanks for listening
