Passion for Science and Religion on Campus

“From Pythagoras to the incomparable Newton and beyond many of the giants of science were not only religious but also profoundly mystical.”

The continual hijacking of science from its religious and mystical history creates a superficial conflict between science and religion inherent only in the hijacking itself, not in its legacy or advancement. Those who would perpetuate the conflict are agenda driven, meaning they value their agenda over truth, and range from the humanistic atheist to the fundamental creationist.
