C S Lewis, Social Justice, & Christianity

C.S. Lewis in Screwtape Letter #23, writes of a "Historical Jesus" that can be newly made again and again. In this instance, this Historical Jesus is made into a God of Social Justice and Marxian mechanics. He speaks of Liberation Theology.

Notice the words Lewis uses in the Letter, "Social Justice" and "Marxian." The letter was written in 1941 yet we see the Gospel of Equity increasing throughout Christianity today making the letter both prophetic and tragic.
