Warriors of Teancum Registration andĀ Refund Policy

Effective for all registrations. Please read before completing your purchase.**
1. All Registrations Are Final
All registration fees for the Warriors of Teancum retreat are **non-refundable and non-cancellable**. By completing registration, the attendee acknowledges and agrees that no refund, credit, or partial reimbursement will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to non-attendance, late arrival, early departure, illness, injury, travel disruption, scheduling conflict, change of plans, or any other personal circumstance.
2. Basis for This Policy
The Warriors of Teancum retreat is a limited-capacity event planned and provisioned on the basis of confirmed attendee sign-ups. Upon registration, Warriors of Teancum/Cwic Media commits and expends funds on a per-attendee basis, including but not limited to:
- Venue reservation and lodging accommodations
- Meeting and presentation rooms and reserved restaurant
- Venue-hosted and third-party activities and equipment
- Speaker fees and speaker travel costs
- Attendee notebooks, materials, and supplies
- Meals, catering, snacks, and beverages
- On-site activities, staffing, and logistics
These costs are incurred in advance of the event, are calculated from the registered headcount, and are not recoverable in the event of an attendee's absence. The registration fee therefore secures the attendee's reserved place and the resources allocated to that place, not attendance itself.
3. Absentee Registrations
Where a registered attendee does not attend the retreat, the registration fee is retained in full and applied, to the extent not already expended on the attendee's reserved place and resources, to the Warriors of Teancum scholarship fund. Scholarship funds are used to assist men in attending future Warriors of Teancum retreats who would otherwise be unable to participate.
4. Postponement or Cancellation byĀ Warriors of Teancum/Cwic Media
In the event that the Warriors of Teancum retreat is postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled by Cwic Media for any reason, including but not limited to weather, venue unavailability, speaker unavailability, natural disaster, public emergency, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control, all registration fees paid will be applied in full toward a future Warriors of Teancum retreat. Registrants will be notified of the rescheduled or subsequent event and their credit will be honored toward that event. No cash refund will be issued.
5. Substitution of Attendee
A registrant who is unable to attend may transfer his registration to another man in his place at no additional charge, subject to the following conditions:
- Notice of the substitution must be provided toĀ Warriors of Teancum in writing prior to the event, in sufficient time to accommodate lodging, meals, materials, and activity arrangements.
- The substitute attendee must meet all eligibility requirements for the retreat and must complete any required registration, waiver, and release forms in his own name.
- Any financial arrangement between the original registrant and the substitute attendee is solely between those parties. Warriors of Teancum/Cwic Media will issue no refund, credit, or payment to either party in connection with a substitution.
- Warriors of Teancum/Cwic Media reserves the right to decline a substitution that cannot reasonably be accommodated given the timing of the request or the capacity of the venue.
6. Acknowledgment
Registration for the Warriors of Teancum retreat constitutes the attendee's express acknowledgment that he has read, understood, and agreed to this policy, and that the registration fee is paid on a non-refundable basis.
